Tired of complicated staining processes for your outdoor wood projects? The Norkan Ready Seal Stain & Sealer in Pecan aims to simplify wood protection. This all-in-one exterior wood stain and waterproofing sealant promises easy application, no back brushing, and UV protection, all in a convenient 1-gallon can. If you're looking for a user-friendly solution to beautify and protect your deck, fence, or other outdoor wood surfaces, this product might be the answer. We’ll dive deep into its features, performance, and value to help you decide if it's the right choice for your next project.
Choosing the right wood stain and sealant is crucial for maintaining the beauty and longevity of your outdoor structures. A poor choice can lead to premature weathering, cracking, and costly repairs. Ready Seal aims to eliminate these concerns with its unique formula and ease of application. It's positioned as a convenient alternative to traditional multi-step staining processes, potentially saving you time and effort.
Here are some key features and specifications of the Ready Seal Stain & Sealer:
Ready Seal Stain & Sealer is an excellent choice for homeowners and DIY enthusiasts looking for a simple and effective way to protect and beautify their outdoor wood surfaces. If you're a beginner or someone who wants to avoid the hassle of traditional multi-step staining processes, this product is definitely worth considering. It's particularly well-suited for decks, fences, and other large outdoor projects where ease of application is a priority.
This stain is also ideal for those who value a natural-looking finish. The Pecan color is a popular choice for its warm, inviting tone that complements a variety of architectural styles. If you're looking for a stain that will enhance the wood's natural beauty without looking overly artificial, Ready Seal is a great option.
Consider this product if you need a stain that offers UV protection to help prevent fading and discoloration of your wood over time. However, if you are sensitive to strong odors or have concerns about VOC content, you might want to explore alternative water-based stains, like those offered by Thompson's WaterSeal or Olympic Stain. While these may require more application steps, they often have lower odor and VOC levels.
At around $50 per gallon, the Norkan Ready Seal Stain & Sealer offers good value for its price, especially considering its all-in-one formula and ease of application. While the color consistency and odor may be drawbacks for some, the overall performance and convenience make it a worthwhile investment for protecting and beautifying your outdoor wood surfaces. Compared to the Rust-Oleum Deck & Concrete Restore, which focuses on restoring heavily damaged surfaces, Ready Seal is more geared toward preventative maintenance and aesthetic enhancement.
For a durable, easy-to-apply stain and sealant, Ready Seal is a solid choice. We highly recommend Ready Seal Stain & Sealer for anyone seeking a user-friendly, effective solution for protecting their wood deck or fence.

ugh i really wanted to love this but it has such a weird chemical smell right out of the box?? i tried airing it out for days and it still stinks. plus it’s kinda stiff and hard to fold back up properly when your in a rush. wouldn't recommend.
way over priced. one of mine came with a tiny plastic piece broken and for this much money that shouldn't happen. plus you have to buy the locking devices separate which is a total ripoff.
Picked up the Pavo Femto last week and I'm pretty impressed. The video quality is surprisingly crisp for the size, though the battery life is a bit short if you're pushing it hard. Still, for the price point, it's a solid win over my old Tinyhawk.
